The majority of life can feel crappy, incomplete, and disconnected. You’re doing things you know are sabotaging your mental wellness, and yet cannot figure out how to have the energy and focus to troubleshoot new ways of coping. Who are you? What do you want out of life? What’s your purpose? I’ll bet you’ve also had therapists who loaded your sessions with their own personal issues, too much academic jargon or simply didn’t make you feel heard. In my experiences with clients, therapy has the best outcomes when you are the climber of the treacherous mountain of life, and I am simply a humble mountain guide. I don’t think you would care about what I know before you know that I care about you and your problems. I serve as a mirror to your values, feelings, and ideas. I will help navigate the processing of traumas and grief in your life. I want you to sincerely feel more connected with yourself and with the people around you. I will be the sounding board for your ideas and remain open to your feedback about what works for you. I have clinical experience with a wide variety of age ranges and reasons for treatment. I might be what they call a “jack of all trades, master of none”–because I know YOU are the expert on you, and your engagement is the most vital part of figuring out what your new normal is. Have you ever wished you could show your therapist a meme or TikTok that describes how you feel? Look no further! I will interpret the tapestry of your life and we will collaborate on solutions and behaviors that will help you make more meaning for yourself.

After earning a bachelors degree in psychology, with a minor in Spanish. I was driven by a passion for supporting those dealing with grief, trauma, and bereavement. This passion led me to a master’s degree in Family and Couples Counseling, building the skills and education to assist individuals and families process and heal from profound losses and traumas.

I strengthened my counseling approaches through a year of intensive research focused on early childhood trauma & brain development, to help deepen my understanding of the impact of early experiences on emotional and psychological well-being. I'm confident that together we can make lasting change for the better, and thrilled to have the opportunity to do so!

You deserve to feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Whether you're navigating deep trauma, untangling religious beliefs, living with persistent mental health challenges, or just trying to make sense of your emotions, you're not alone—and you don't have to figure it out by yourself. I specialize in working with adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those experiencing serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), offering a safe space where your identity, lived experience, and story are deeply respected.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I integrate modalities like DBT, EMDR, ACT, EFT, and CBT for psychosis to help you build insight, process pain, and develop tools that actually work. Whether you're living with psychosis, OCD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or complex trauma, or you're navigating anxiety, depression, or religious deconstruction, we'll work together to create meaningful change at your pace.

As a feminist and LGBTQ+-affirming therapist, I'm committed to holding space for your whole self—including the parts you've been told to hide. Therapy with me is about reclaiming your voice, finding your footing, and writing the next chapter on your terms.

I offer in-person and telehealth sessions throughout Salt Lake, Weber, Davis, and Utah Counties.
